Our Vessel

Dulcinea stands apart from every other vessel on the Hillsborough River. Her hull is a from a 1966 Tiara, and she was meticulously constructed de novo utilizing this unique hull design in 2013.

Her design was heavily influenced by the Hinckley picnic boats from Maine and the traditional wooden Venetian water taxis.

When not navigating the Mackinac Island region only 3 months out of the year, she was dry docked in a climate-controlled environment.

From the beveled glass windows, the dual cockpits with authentic Model T wheels, to the exquisite teak and mahogany woodwork on the deck and interior, she is a head turner.

Able to operate comfortably during all seasons, six guests will be treated to an open and well-ventilated cabin space when desired, or into a cabin with utmost privacy while the captain pilots from the forward chauffeur helm.

A premium stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity allows guests to select music of their choosing, and an onboard toilet is available while underway.

Named after Princess Dulcinea (Italian for “lover”) and from the opera Don Quixote, Dulcinea will transport you to destinations beyond current available private charters in the Tampa Bay region.
